Summer is coming, summer is coming! 04/14/2012
The summer is coming, the summer is coming! Does that sound familiar? It's from "The British are coming, the british are coming!". :) Summer is right around the block for us... we have about 10 more weeks of school left, and then, "School's out for SUMMER!". I can't believe how fast the year has gone by. I also can't believe how much we have posted. We haven't posted since Christmas! That's bad. We have had many busy weeks since Christmas, and we have all been doing so much. Rachel has been making great strides in school. She has been to the Honor Roll breakfast many times this year, and we couldn't be happier. SPROCKET is wonderful, and he helps Rachel on a daily basis. He also makes a great pet when he is not working. Jess has also been doing well in school. She was able to go to the Honor Roll breakfast many times this year. She is doing track and field again this year, and loves running with the team. She has so much fun, and has so many wonderful friends on the team. Kanani has been doing very well in school this year. She has been getting wonderful grades, and we are all so proud of her for being able to accomplish such great things. The weather has been getting warmer (but today it is raining), and we have been going outside a lot. We haven't taken any photos yet though. We'll do our best to get some up soon. Everyone else (who is not in our immediate family) is doing well. Hopefully they can update themselves and let you know how they've been doing. We are also so thankful to be healthy, and for wonderful friends. We know there are so many people who aren't as fortunate out there. I am sure Lily is posting photos tomorrow. We would like to take this opportunity to cover a few things... and introduce a new doll. As many of you know Lily got Cecile Rey for Christmas. She hasn't posted any photos yet; so we thought we would take this opportunity to post some photos of Cecile. Cecile is so beautiful and she makes a great addition to our family. I don't want to make you wait any longer to see Cecile, so here she is:

Argos (renamed Bud), our newest pet! He's so big though, it takes 2 of us to walk him. We truly apologize for not posting any photos lately. We have been so busy and we haven't really had time to update. We will try to update our photos and bring you all up-to-date with our busy and hectic lives soon! The Dolls (written by Jess and Rachel) This is Kanani. We apologize for not posting for the past 2 months. We posted in November... but all that was posted live was "Start typing...". We're sorry about that! Live has been very busy. School has become rough but fun. Rachel and Jess have lots of homework, and some strange classes. I don't mean the classes are strange, I mean the routine is strange. I also have homework. But that is to be expected in High School is it not? We recently got a new doll friend who is bigger than us, which is really scary. Her name is Nischi and she is an asian baby. Lily has posted photos. As I understand she was a Christmas gift that Lily got early. Unfortunately though we can't lift her on our own. It takes 4 of us to lift her which is very difficult. Unfortunately in Doll People, lifting Baby Betsy is not described. ;0) We are counting down to the holiday season (well that has already started), and can't wait until Christmas is here! We will be so excited once Winter Break has started... we only have 18 daysWe are so blessed to be expecting another new friend... Cecile! We will try to beat Lily to posting photos. :D We'll see how that goes. I wish summer were here, but that is about 6 months away unfortunately. Rachel and Jess are waiting for snow. They are anxiously awaiting snow days as well! I could live with out all of it. :D I hope to be able to give you an update soon. What is weather like out where you live? Is it hot, or cold? Have you had your first snow yet? We are also very excited because for the past couple of years we have been fortunate enough to be able to experience Hannukah as well as Christmas. It is truly a blessing to be able to epxierience everything that we do. We know that so many people have so little, and we count our blessings (or try). We think it is important to celebrate the holidays and be thankful for what you have. :D Remember so many will never experience all of the joy and happiness that you do. You have to be greatful for what you have and not just want more. Say thanks for all that you have. Are you doing anything special for the holidays? G'day Mate! We know how much you all love seeing photos! Since we are in school now, it is getting really hard to post. But here are a few quick photos we can post with some captions. We decided to post some photos of Lily and her dolls that she hasn't posted! Wan Ling woul like to say, "I can't believe Lily hasn't posted these yet! They are so beautiful." Hey Everyone, As you know, Lily loves to take photos of us! She has had photo shoots in the past that haven't quite (unfortunately) made it to this website! I think Lily plans to use some of them for Old and Recently Old Photos, but here are just a few photos from a shoot in 2009. I am sure, we will be posting more from other photoshoots, but here are just a few for now. Maybe this will get Lily to post some of these on her blog and tell a story behind them. :0)  This was taken in Lily's room! Her one wall was still pink! (It's purple now). L-r Me, rachel, Marisol and Jess  a nice photo of Marisol. I love this wall paper. It does a great job as acting as a backdrop!  a great photo of Loran. Lily's first MyTwinn doll... her first doll other than BittyBaby, and her other baby dolls. We truly hope you get off to a great school year! Our school starts on Monday (cries!). Hey Everyone, We are sorry for not posting very often. We are really focused on "Back to school" activities. We are going to me meet our teacher this week. Rachel and Jess have Miss Ellens for Kindergarten. I am going into 6th grade, so I have a whole batch of teachers. :) Some of the other girls still haven't found out who their teacher(s) are. Hey Everyone, We are very sorry that we didn't post yesterday. We were very busy and unable to post some photos. On the way home Lily made us stop at a place to look at some scenery. What she didn't know was that we were already here earlier in the week for camp. :D WE still had a great time. :) Here are some photos. Hi Everyone, Unfortunately this will be our last post (from camp... not forever). :( This is really sad for us, and we hate to leave. (Now onto the fun!!) Today we were lucky enough to go berry picking. :) We got to pick raspberries... LOTS and LOTS of raspberries. :) Here are some photos!!  Rachel picking berries.  Kanani picking some berries.
