Hey Everyone,

Unfortunately today, we had a very rainy day at camp. :(  We had creative writing (blah!), but that was about all we did besides have fun in our cabins.  

WE were suppose to have great weather tomorrow, but now it looks like it might rain tomorrow, or overnight.  If we get enough rain it could potentially cancel our nature hike.  I hope it doesn't rain.  Maybe one of these days we will have a perfect day!  A girl can dream right? :0 (Melissa Buckles)



I don't know who will be posting tomorrow, but hopefully we can have something real to say and some photos!  Sorry for the lousy update today. :0

Hi Everyone,

I hope you didn't all go by the book I told you we used today... that is the wrong book!  Here is a photo of the book that we really used (and this time I am not joking or lying! haha). 

This is a great book... the but loop closure is a little tricky!  Lily is posting a video on Wednesday to help everyone make this work a little easier!

I hope nobody is mad at Jess!  Really- she is great, we just took a photo of each book and she just accidently posted the wrong one!

Hi Everyone,

I am so happy that Lily set this up. :)  This will be so much fun. :)  I can't wait to hear some of your feed back. :)  Hopefully soon, we can get everyone to post... that would be at least 24 categories... just with the 21 American Girl Dolls... Lily has at least 10 more that would need to post too. :)

Today, we had a tour of the camp, and met all of the campers, there were 100 campers all different age ranges.  Some were 5 and some were almost 18!  That would be so exciting to be that old. :) 

Today's main activity was jewelry making.  It was a lot of fun.  The necklace we made looks really nice on Kanani... and a similar bracelet looks great on me (according to Rachel).   I will show some photos in a slide show of the book we made them out of and some photos of a necklace just with ribbon on Kanani, and a bracelet on me. :)  You can click on the photos on the side to see them... you don't have to wait for them to appear big. :) 
I have another photo of Rachel, I just have to find it... I will post it when I do. :)

PS:  There is a video coming soon on Lily's page I think about the 2 loops... that's why I mentioned it... the Button Loop Clasp is hard because sometimes the wire broke. :(  So we used another clasp demonstrated in the new video coming soon. ;)

It's Kanani here- to tell you all about our new blog, and arriving at camp. :)  As most of you know I am the Girl of the Year 2011.  Lily's grandma got me for Lily's Christmas and Birthday gift (Christmas of 2010, Birthday 2011).  Lily also got some of my outfits and paddle board. 

I am so happy to be able to tell you about arriving at camp.  I even have a photo of our big dorm room... it's so big. ;)  For this week, someone will post everyday.  After that, this will just be a blog, and dolls will post when they feel like it. :)  You can find posts by a certain doll by just clicking on their name.  This will bring up all of the posts by that doll, and that doll only. :)

  If you have questions email us at [email protected].  Make sure "For the Dolls", or "For _________" (fill in the dolls' name) is in the subject, you can also add other things too, but make sure that is in the subject so Lily will show it to us!  You can also follow us at http://twitter.com/agpixplace_doll.  We can't promise we will be able to follow you back (we have to ask Lily for that sort of stuff), but you are welcome to follow us.

Rachel and Jess will be posting later this week too.  This week from my understanding, we are swimming, horse back riding, writing creatively, and much much more. :)

Hey Everyone, 

This is Rachel.  I was Lily's first American Girl doll (probably something she doesn't make a big deal of...). I am also a "American Girl of Today" (that's what MyAmericanGirl dolls were called back in the 90s when I was purchased).  I was given to Lily for Christmas of 2001... and I am not sure how she decided to name me Rachel! 

From the late 1990s, until Lily's mom thought Lily was old enough to get me, I was kept in the box I came in... However, I am a doll person which means I really am alive, but I just have to stay still while the humans are around.  :)  You can get the book "Doll People" which is really good, and although many humans don't believe it, is a true story- at Amazon (link is above on "doll person").  At night, I hung out with some of Lily's baby dolls including her bitty baby Lily, and some of her mom's dolls. ;)

The first post about us and our lives now by Kanani will be tomorrow (Sunday July 24th).  She will introduce  this blog, and also tell about arriving at camp!  I am so excited to get this off the road!
