How To Clean Up Your Doll
I have a doll that I got from eBay about 2 months ago. Her previous owner wanted the doll to have a new hair style and had decided to cut off her bangs, and to draw a bathing suit onto her CLOTH body when she wanted CHANCE to go swimming, but she didn't have a bathing suit!!
I thought that Chance looked like she could use some help, and so I got her for only like $31! That is a DEAL! Now I am in the process of cleaning her up and pretty soon she will be in great shape. I washed her hair just like LIZ said, and all I need to do is: get the bathing suit off her body! My goal is to have chance completely done by the time school starts in 2 weeks! :) I am going to use PERKS from TWIN PINES on her body. My mom used TWIN PINES products on her doll when she fixed up Zoarzoar. :) I think it'll be safe because from my understanding; the guy has a book, and is a polymer chemist.
My mom also has a project doll. ZOARZOAR was my mom's rescue doll. She purchased her in Spring 2009, and began working on her right away. She fixed Zoarzoar's hair and even pierced her ears with pushpins (which I don't recommend). You can read more about Zoarzoar's story here!
