New Outfit for my BittyBaby!

Hey Everyone,
I know that I don't play with my Bitty Baby Lily very much anymore. I don't think I have posted about her once in this blog even, but... today is different!

I got a new outfit for Lily! Here is a photo. It is the pajama outfit. I think it is so adorable on her! She looks so cute. And it looks very summery!

I know, she has a blue eye and a brown eye. She has a hard life. She was left out in the rain one night, left out on the swing in our back yard numerous times. I just don't think I could replace her. I am thinking about getting a twin for her... who I could name Christina, but I don't know about that!

Ok- have a great week! I hope school has been going ok for everyone! I love all of my teachers and so far my classes are going great!

Old and Recently Found Photos Week VIII

Hey Everyone,
Since school starts this week (sigh!), I thought I would show you this weeks Old and Recently Found photo before I got too busy!

Loran and Rachel in our cabin on Isle Royale National Park(Michigan). This was in 2008, and I think that they both can say that had a great time! hehe. :) I know I did. We did a lot of hiking, and it was a nice quiet time. It was so nice being 50 miles out in Lake Superior! Unfortunately due to cost, that vacation doesn't happen more than every couple of years!

Due to school starting on Tuesday, I will not guarentee that I can post more than once a week, probably during the weekend. If I do, I will be sure to make sure I let you know "I posted also on Thursday" in the latest post of the week! I will aslo not be on Twitter and email as much.

Hey Everyone,

For this weeks' Old and Recently Found Photos, I thought I would share with you this photo. :) This was taken at my Grandma's house in 2007. Rachel is in the clothes from when JLY was American Girl of Today. I believe that is what she came in.

I can't believe how much better at photography am now, then I was then. It is so fun to look into the past, as well as discover things over again. :0)

There will be another Old and Recently Found Photos next week. I know I skipped this for a few weeks, but I had a lot of photos from Michigan then.

Making a Puzzle- a Photo Story

Hey Everyone,First I would like to say, I was almost done with this photostory and was going to save it in my drafts when the internet crashed! So, let's try this again. Sorry- it may not be as great as the first time. You never do something perfect the second time. ;0)

It has been a long time since I posted a photo story and that seems to be what people love. :)

Jess and Rachel celebrated their 5th birthday recently. Since they are twins, they got similar puzzles with 3 jewels. One of the puzzles is already complete, and now they are working on Rachel's puzzle. :) Here they are completing the puzzle with big sister Kanani. Kanani is thinking about asking for the 3rd puzzle for her birthday this October. :-)

Rachel, Kanani, and Jess have separated the puzzle pieces into 2 categories: edges and non-edges.

Kanani with her piece. She looks so happy to be able to help her sisters with their puzzles. :D

Jess puts in her piece on the edge. The edge is now complete!

Rachel's piece is in the puzzle. :) The puzzle is almost finished!

Kanani's piece is the last piece to go into the puzzle.

This was really fun to make,it has really big pieces and both of the puzzles are really pretty.

"There's no place like HOME"

Hey Everyone,
Two nights ago (Friday) we got home from Michigan. :) Even though "there is no place like home", it was still bittersweet! My summer vacation is almost over.

But- I also have some good news! Because we are home from Michigan, I have a BUNCH of photos that I have to show you. I will be announcing the Give Away tomorrow, and I am so excited. The photostory will be (hopefully) up after lunch today. :)

New Historical Dolls

Hey Everyone,

As you all probably have already read at American Girl Fan, American Girl has 2 new dolls for pre order. I think I might buy Cecile, but not Marie- Grace.

I still think that AG needs an asian doll. I beg you to please sign my petition. Please though include WHY you would like an asian doll. I am hoping for 25 signatures by the end of the year. I already have a few. :)

I loved all the guesses I got last week on Liz's message board and here. :)

This week's clue is: It is not one... but a group. Remember last weeks' clue: It is from American Girl. You can now try to guess using both of these clues. :) I can't wait to hear your guesses. From Liz's Mr. Linky I have asked multiple people if I could post their links on my Links Page. :) So far, I have had 3 "sures". :) I will be sure to post all of the links with in one week that I have unless I hear a no from anyone. If I hear a "no" after I post the links, I will just take down that link.

I would like to also ask- if people I have posted links for would be willing to post mine. If you have a Links page, you could post it there, or on a sidebar. I do have a RSS feed here, so you could post it on a "Favorite Links" or something, if you have that on a sidebar.
