Hey Everyone,
Many of you may remember in 2009, I got a new doll who I named Andrea from a family friend.  She is a Madame Alexander "Friends for Life" doll, that you can buy at Walmart.  Last year, I got another doll who I got off of eBay.  The poor thing has been in her box for over a year. 

Today I decided was the right day to take her out of her box.  After just one look at her, I decided her name would be Taylor Joy.  I knew she looked like the Buckles' girls, but I couldn't decide which girl to name her after.  Since Taylor is the oldest, I decided upon that name. 

Here are a few pictures:

Taylor Joy right out of the box practically.  The company sewed her jacket to her shirt.  We cut the string though.

I decided Taylor should have her hair down, the way the REAL Taylor Joy usually does in photos!  Although this Taylor's hair is a lot longer, it still looks cute!

I am sorry for not doing an Old and Recently Found Photos this week.  I will try to do 2 next week (2 pictures).  I just don't have as much free time during the school year as I do during the summer.

Hi Everyone,I thought I would show you some behind the scenes of the posts that my dolls' have been making.  I think there will need to be about 5 parts, and this is Part I.   I hope this helps you see how you can do some great things with your dolls.

One way I have posted was by taking photos of something my family did, or that I did, and use them in a post by the dolls.  This is why the photo doesn't have the dolls in it.  Here are two great examples:
"Cleaning the Forest" is a great example of this.  The brush and things that you see in the photo, really are taken out of a wooded and over grown area, however it is not the woods.  It is from our yard. 

In the  "The Pine County Fair'' my family were actually at the Ontonagon County Fair while we were on vacation.  I thought these exhibits were great, and I thought the dolls could post about them. 

This is part I, and I think you definitely can see that you can use your life, in your dolls' journals.  It definitely has made for more posts by my dolls (than there otherwise would be).

Hey Everyone!  It's week 10 of Old and Recently Found Photos!  This has kind of taken over Show and Tell Wednesday I have noticed... I will still post some of S&TW on my blog occasionally though.

This week I thought I would post a photo from Christmas day 2008.  I got Samantha and Nellie.  I knew I was getting Samantha but on December 24th Nellie was in my advent calendar (the little tag from Nellie).  It was such a nice surprise.  The display below stayed in our living room until probably February when the Girl Scout cookies came!  These are just some of my dolls...

Hi Everyone,

I am sorry for not posting sooner!  I know I said I was going to try to post twice a week.  I have had 4 tests this week (yes- really 4) and so I have only sat down at the computer for a half hour a day (max).  I will try to do better next week!

I should be able to post photos tomorrow.  How is your school year going?  I hope everyone is off to a great year; keep up the hard work. 

 I can't believe I am in my 5th week of school next week.  It's unbelievable.  Interims come home Friday; I am so excited to be able to say (in 4 more weeks) that the end of 1st quarter is finished!!!!!

The weather has been beautiful.  I have been helping in the yard today (UGH!).  I have 5 more dolls to change into fall clothes and then I will be able to post some photos.  I was going to do one each day; but haven't had time for hardly anything.

Hey Everyone,

Sorry for not posting an "Old and Recently Found Photos" for the past 2 weeks!  Here is a photo of Rachel at Navy Pier in Chicago!  Unfortunately (or should I say fortunately) when we are in Chicago we don't just go to American Girl Place.  We also like to go to the aquarium (I LOVE DOLPHINS), and Navy Pier.  We also  Ok- I am planning on posting some photos tomorrow.  Don't forget about the Give Away and Petition!

My dolls recently have gotten their school photos taken!  This week I am posting Jade-Lynne and Rachel's photo. 

Jade-Lynne's school photo.  I love the shirt she is wearing.  She really didn't want to take her necklace off.

Rachel's school photo.  She looks adorable with the sweater. 

I am getting into a routine in school and should be able to post maybe twice a week (at least we'll try).  I am posting this under Summer Photos.  I know September is considered fall, but it is still summer and I want to think of fall far far away! (see the optomism?).
