Hello Everyone! 

I can't believe today is New Year's Eve.  Can you believe 2011 is less than 12 hours from being over?  I think it actually is a little sad, but I am sure the new year (2012) will bring great things (ie, a new doll!!). 

I thought about how a whole year will be gone, but I guess you could look back on any day and say a whole year has gone by.

Are you going to do anything special for New Year's tomorrow?  What are your thoughts about the year ending?  If your dolls are doing anything special, I would love to know.  You can email any photos from New Years, along with any photos from the holidays to [email protected]. 

I will not make a new blog for 2012.  I think this will be our blog roll here for all years now.

I will be sure to post some photos of what I would like of McKenna's collection (and McKenna herself) tomorrow.

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce the wonderful, and only.... CECILE REY! I am thrilled to be able to say I have another addition to my large "little" family!!  It truly is a blessing to have another doll.

Cecile was fortunate enough to be able to meet my dolls Rachel and Jess before any of my other dolls. :0)  I will be posting Cecile meeting all of my dolls the next time I upload photos onto my computer.  Everyone is so happy to have a new friend in their lives.  Cecile will be put on display most of the time, but will get to participate in some photo stories just like all of my other dolls!

Cecile with Marie-Grace's dog Argos.  I believe I will be changing Argos' name to Bud since I know someone who has a Bouvier named Bud.  That is the whole reason I got "Argos"/ Bud.

Hey Everyone,
I just ran across the new Girl Doll Talk episode.  In this episode Mia, Christa and Ms. Jevins talk about the 2012 Girl of the Year.  It was really fun to listen to. 

I also wanted to mention; that I have noticed if you hover on the title at the top of the page, there is a black stripe.  I am not sure why this happens, but I am hoping it will go away.  If it doesn't, I will email Weebly about this.

Ok- here is the answer to last week's Guess that Picture.  I am pretty sure this is the exact photo... but I am not positive.

As you can see there are 5 dolls.  They are all sitting, on Mardi Gras Day 2009.  You may have remembered seeing this photo in Archived Photos and Posts>Photos: 2009 and towards the bottom.  This was before I used the blog format.

Hey Everyone,

First of all... I would like to wish everyone a belated Christmas!  I am sorry I didn't post anything on Christmas day, but I truly hope you had a fantastic day.  I know I did. I would also like to with my dad a very Happy Birthday today.

We have been without internet access for the last 4 days, so I was unable to  post on this site, answer emails, find things out about Winter- the dolphin after I watched DolphinTale or look at. my grades online.  Believe me I was very bummed. :0) 

I recently saw DolphinTale and I loved it!  It is perhaps added to my favorite movie list now. :0)  I spent all morning (after we had our internet restored) looking up pictures, and facts about Winter; and watching webcams of Ms. Winter. :0)  You can find out about Winter at Wikipedia, or at www.seewinter.com.  There are 4 webcams online, and you can get to them by going to "Winter" and then "Media".  You cahe aquariumn also see photos from the shooting of DolphinTale, or just from the aquarium.  I hope you enjoy them just as much as I have!

I would like to say that PRIYA got the Guess that Picture correct!  The doll was indeed Kanani.  Hopefully we have some more people participate over the next few weeks... I do have email notifications on my comments and try to respond ASAP but sometimes, I don't even the email for a few days!

Good luck guessing... I do realize this photo (the blurred photo) can be a little dizzying, but go ahead and take a stab.  I can't wait to hear what you guys think. :0)

PS: Please let me know how you are enjoying this!  So far it is great fun to blur the photos as much as possible, and I can't quite make them pixelated but we are still trying... maybe next week.  Also let me know if you have other ideas.

I am sure you all know that we have tried many different ideas, and none of them I don't think will every be as fun as this one!  Priya has suggested a Guess that Picture idea to me, and I really liked it. 

I will TRY to post a new blurred, or pixelated photo every week, and your job is to, well... guess what the original photo was.  I will make sure to post photos that you will have seen in a catalog (AG), or on my webpage... Please comment and let me know how you like this new activity, and take a stab at the photo.  It would be no fun if only Priya participated!  Here is this week's photo:

Hey Everyone,
I have decided that trying to post every weekend can get hard at this time of the year.  I think it would be best for you to look on my "What am I doing" on the side that I have moved up on Saturday.  I will let you know on Saturday if I will be able to post that specific weekend and when I plan on doing it.  I also sometimes post on twitter during the week and you can check there for mini updates. :D

Here is Marisol in a cafe with a snowy window behind her.  I have gotten the last 2 images from Google Images and seem to be able to find what I am looking for there.

  I will be seeing Kat (my photo taking partner) soon and we can take some more photos and then I c.  I also will be taking some over winter break as well.

The brown was suppose to be the floor... clearly that didn't come out perfectly.  Oh well.  If anyone else has any more photo ideas, they would be greatly appreciated.
